The rodless pneumatic cylinder

The cylinder tube is axially slotted throughout. Power is transmitted via a load coupling, which is attached to the piston shaft; the latter is designed in such a way that a web passing through the tube slot connects the inner part of the piston shaft to the outer part.

How a rodless pneumatic cylinder with slotted tube works

A rodless pneumatic cylinder with a slotted tube differs from conventional cylinders due to its special design. The cylinder tube is slotted along its length, which enables a direct connection between the piston and the external load.
